Tennessee requires no blood tests or waiting period. You can have your wedding ceremony on the same day you get your marriage license. You may purchase your marriage license from any County Clerk’s office at any Court House in Tennessee. Once you physically sign for the license at the Clerk’s office it is valid for only thirty days, but it may be purchased online months in advance of your wedding ceremony.
What’s required? Both people must be present, over 18 years of age and provide a valid driver’s license or certified birth certificate. If either party has been widowed or divorced you must give the date of death or divorce.

SEVIERVILLE: Sevier County Court House Monday thru Thursday 8:30 - 4:30, Friday 8:00 - 5 PM eastern, CLOSED SATURDAY. The Court House is located in Sevierville at the intersection of Hwy 66 & Hwy 411, left at light 15.5 on Hwy 66.
GATLINBURG: Shilling Center Clerks Office only on Monday from 8:00 - 4:30; Wednesday from 8:00-4:30; Friday from 8:00 - 4:30; Saturday 9 am to 1 pm, CLOSED Tuesday & Thursday. Travel one block PAST light #6, turn left onto Reagan Drive (beside Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum), travel 3 blocks. Schlling Center is on the left.
PIGEON FORGE (SATURDAY ONLY): City Hall, Saturday ONLY 9-5 EASTERN. They’re located in Pigeon Forge traffic light #6 beside Shoney's, up the hill on the left, office is in the rear.
